Cumulus Media | Indianapolis has an amazing opportunity for you! We are now actively seeking a new afternoon Drive /Music Director for 99.5 zpl. We’re looking for someone fun, energetic, intelligent, outgoing, out-spoken, street-credible, quick witted, enthusiastic, team oriented, determined, and has a strong work ethic. You will need to be social media fluent and PPM friendly. Music Director responsibilities will include participating in weekly music meetings, scheduling daily music logs and communicating with record labels. Imaging skills would be a positive too - but not mandatory.

We Are: Cumulus | Indianapolis currently features six stations in the Indianapolis area and surrounding counties: CHR 99.5 zpl, Country 95.5 WFMS-FM, Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK-FM, Adult Top 40 1079 The Mix, CBS Sports 1430-AM and Rock 93.9X. The cluster of six stations reaches hundreds of thousands of listeners on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver compelling content on-air
• Ability to engage with listeners on social media and on the radio station website.
• Schedule music logs daily
• Communicate regularly with record label representatives

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of on-air radio experience
• Previous Music Director experience preferred
• Ability to create solid relationships with record labels.
• Possess strong social media skills.
• Good computer skills (knowledge of Stratus music scheduling is a plus).
• Ability to multi-task and the discipline to focus on what is the highest and best use of your time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative problem solver
• Deep knowledge & awareness of music, pop culture & current
• Ability to produce station imaging occasionally would be a positive.
